The PMAY Pocket 2 project in Sector 15
- The Moradabad Development Authority is constructing a 24-meter wide road, approximately 4,035 meters long, that connects Delhi Road and Kanth Road as part of its traffic and connectivity initiatives.
- The budget allocated for road construction is approximately ₹1,100 lakhs, and for power line relocation, it's ₹300 lakhs, bringing the total estimated cost to around ₹1,400 lakhs. This project aims to enhance connectivity, streamline traffic flow, and promote residential and industrial development, directly benefiting the city's residents and businesses.
- Development of Link Roads: The MDA has developed projects like "Samarpan Path" (Delhi Road) and "Vikas Path" (a 24-meter wide road connecting Delhi Road and Kanth Road), which provide improved traffic facilities within the city.
- Pedestrian and Vehicular Safety: The MDA is working to improve pedestrian and vehicular safety and connectivity on Delhi Road, specifically from Zero Point to Gagan Nadi, through pedestrian structure upgrades and placemaking initiatives.
Green & Brownfield Promotion: As part of its sustainable development efforts, the MDA has restored the lake in the Moradabad area to promote Green & Brownfield development, contributing to environmental balance and stability.
