Extended Area Masterplan
This initiative outlines the ambitious expansion and development strategy for the Moradabad region. At its core, the project encompasses the existing Moradabad urban area, which currently comprises 180 villages,area under the Municipal Corporation, spanning 383 square kilometers. A key component of this master plan is the strategic integration of three new, substantial expansion zones. Each of these zones is meticulously detailed with the precise number of villages to be incorporated and their respective land areas, measured in hectares. These expansions are strategically aligned with and extend along critical transportation arteries, specifically Kashipur Road, Delhi Road, and Rampur Road, signifying a calculated and integrated approach to future urban and infrastructural development.
Under the extended development area, 71 new revenue villages have been included, which are as follows:
- 18 villages from Tehsil-Kanth
- 34 villages from Tehsil-Moradabad
- 03 villages from Tehsil-Sambhal
- 15 revenue villages from Tehsil-Bilari
